Patients over the age of 34 are eligible for an NHS Health Check with our Healthcare Assistant. Patients will have a weight and height check, blood pressure, a few lifestyle questions and if necessary a blood test.

Spirometry is carried out using a device called a spirometer, it is a small machine attached by a cable to a mouthpiece (similar to a peak flow meter). The purpose of a spirometry screening is to assist with diagnosis and to monitor certain lung conditions.
This appointment is carried out by our Healthcare Assistant or Practice Nurse.
This service is limited to patients with severe mobility restrictions. Although this service is limited we can assist and advise all patients who require a phlebotomy appointment.
