New Patient Health Checks

Newly registered patients (over the age of 18) are invited for a New Patient Health Check with our Healthcare Assistant. The New Patient Health check consists of a weight and height check, a blood pressure check and a few simple lifestyle questions.

Urine Dipstick

Urine dipstick testing is carried out by the Healthcare Assistant. You will need to provide the Healthcare Assistant with a urine, once provided a special strip of paper will be dipped into the urine. The result is available almost immediately.

A urine dipstick test can also be known as a rapid urine test.

Medical Reports & Private Medical Certificates

If you wish to request a medical report or private medical certificate, please seek advice from reception as certain types of reports may not require a face-to-face GP appointment for example an insurance or solicitor report. You can do this by contacting reception via telephone or submitting an eConsult.

Please bear in mind that the completion of a medical report may take 40 days and an administrative fee may apply; upon making your request you will be informed of any fee’s. Alternatively please click below to view our list of fee’s.

Medical Reports and Private Medical Certificates

Please seek advice regarding administrative requests at the reception desk first. You may not always need an appointment with the doctor if your request is of an administrative nature (solicitor or insurance report for instance).
